Welcome to PeacePoint. By using the PeacePoint app, you agree to these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PeacePoint ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the App.

2. No Medical Advice

PeacePoint is NOT a medical device and should not be considered a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

• The App is a self-help tool for managing anxiety and OCD symptoms.
• Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.
• Never disregard professional medical advice or delay in seeking it because of something you have read on the App.

3. User Accounts & Privacy

• PeacePoint operates on a "local-first" data model. Your journal entries, checklists, and photos are stored locally on your device.
• We do not store your personal content on our servers.
• You are responsible for securing your own device (e.g., using Passcode/FaceID).

4. Data Backup and Loss

• Your Responsibility: You are responsible for ensuring your data is backed up. We strongly recommend enabling iCloud Backup (iOS) or Google Drive Backup (Android) on your device.
• Automatic Backups: If you enable device backups (iCloud/Google Drive), your PeacePoint data will be included and can be restored if you change devices or need to reinstall.
• No Cloud Storage by PeacePoint: We do not provide cloud storage or backup services. All backups are handled through your device's operating system (Apple/Google), not by PeacePoint.
• Data Loss: If you delete the app, lose your device, or disable backups, your data may be permanently lost. We are not responsible for any loss of data.

5. Purchases and Refunds

• PeacePoint offers "Lifetime Access" via a one-time purchase.
• All payments are processed by Apple (via the App Store).
• Refunds are handled exclusively by Apple according to their policies. We cannot process refunds directly.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or decompile the App.
• Use the App to harass, harm, or abuse others.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code within PeacePoint are the property of the developer, protected by copyright laws.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PeacePoint and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of data, resulting from your use of the App.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the App following any changes indicates your acceptance of the new Terms.
